Totally AwesomE 💯💥💯

Another fantastic addition to my home gym ....the Ascent is really great quality ....solid and durable....light weight and very portable friendly
😁👍🏿👍🏿...works really well for those angles to alleviate wrist pressure plus adds deeper angles for decline push ups.... also great for squats gives better angles for the ankles for less pressure and more ease on the executed reps and sets .....I grabbed up the initial set plus x4 extra add ons for deeper angle settings/options....love it 😎✌🏾....once again...thank you Kensui....for overall awesome equipment
.....💯💥💯

Versatile Design

Having injured both of my wrists over 10 years ago, doing push ups is a challenge due to 'extreme osteoarthritis' (I typically use parallettes or push up handles). The ascent, along with the optional boosters has opened up new possibilities - I am now able to support my wrists and gently increase the range of movement in both wrists while providing adequate support to avoid extreme discomfort. As noted by other users, the surface doesn't have much grip. To remedy this I applied self-adhesive sand paper I had on hand over the full length of each Ascent. I realize some might find the sandpaper a little too rough for bare hands however I find it works very well. In addition to doing push ups, I also like to use the Ascent as heel-raisers for squats and a variety of knee related exercises, which makes the Ascent my go-to workout travel accessory!

Great but…

Ok… this is my most honest review ever. I purchased the Kensui ascent about 30 days ago and I have to admit I love them. My core is activated just doing push-ups. No forced engaging. I mean your core midsection will start to engage and you’ll wonder why are my abs so tight. That is the amazingly great part of these. The only drawbacks for me is that the elastic bands used to keep them on your hand when is a little too loose. Also I thing that this product can be improved upon by adding a neoprene jacket in a hand molded pattern so the heal of your hands don’t fee so raw. The hard plastic is exceptionally durable but brutal on the palms. Over all I love the product but I think it needs some tweaking to get right. Maybe slice the upper portion of them and replace with a thick hard rubber for less pressure.

Meh, they slip around when you’re sweaty; thought they had a little cushion to them, but they’re just hard plastic

Glad I bought these!

I always want to do more push up, but they hurt my wrists, so over the years I've bought different types of push-up bars and parallettes, which lift your upper body up too much... finally somebody figured out a good way to reposition your hands and wrists without putting your body at a steep angle, and still keeping your hands naturally flat. Good thinking!
