Born in Japan and raised in Canada, Remy was always interested in sports and engineering. He started swimming at the age of 3 and qualified for Olympic Trials and got 2nd place at NCAA.
In 2016, Remy designed Swimbuddy: A Remote swimming platform and won $10,000 at the Dream It. Win it. Code it. Competition and in 2018, he founded Bagabon.
After graduating from MIT in 2014, Remy started calisthenics and spent the next 3 years training at fitness parks using gymnastic rings.
During his travels and training, he had ideas of fitness products he wish existed. Since they did not exist, he decided to create Kensui® and design the products himself.

We believe it's never too early to start giving back, so starting December 2019 just two week after launch, we started giving a portion of our profits to a good cause. 663 million people on our planet lack access to safe, clean drinking water and we want to change that.
We partnered with Pledgeling to build community wells in Swaziland and to ensure 3 people gain access to clean water for every EZ-VEST purchase.
Waterborne diseases kill more children every single year than AIDS, Malaria, and all world violence combined. Small children typically do not have strong enough immune systems to fight diseases like cholera, dysentery, or schistosomiasis.
By providing a community with safe drinking water, disease rates can drop by up to 88% virtually overnight! Child mortality rates can drop up to 90% overnight!
Funds will be split evenly between three nonprofit organizations.

International Medical Corps is taking an agency-wide approach to their response, providing their 7,000+ staff members in more than 30 countries with clinical guidance and planning documents designed to help them screen patients, enhance infection prevention and control (IPC), and protect health providers.
Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses to provide personal protective equipment and other items to health workers responding to coronavirus.
