"Much Better than Push-up Handles

These are a perfect solution for working with clients who have stiff and sore wrists.

Not only does it relieve some of the stress on the wrist but it still helps them build stronger hands.

Definitely a go to four push-ups and squats training."

ASCENT
FAQs

Is the Ascent one size fits all?

Yes, the elastic strap and the shape of the ascent was specifically designed to accomodate all hand sizes.

What is the degree of the incline?

It is around 15 degrees. With the upcoming ASCENT booster you can increase in 5 degree increments.

How much weight can it hold?

The ascent is made of fiberglass and is extremely strong. You don't have to worry about this, it can hold more than you'll ever need.

Can you hands slide down the wedge?

Its always a challenge to create a surface that is both slip-resistant and comfortable. We have added texture to the surface of ascent to prevent slipping. However for those with especially sweaty palms, we recommend using chalk to get the best effect!

Great but…

Ok… this is my most honest review ever. I purchased the Kensui ascent about 30 days ago and I have to admit I love them. My core is activated just doing push-ups. No forced engaging. I mean your core midsection will start to engage and you’ll wonder why are my abs so tight. That is the amazingly great part of these. The only drawbacks for me is that the elastic bands used to keep them on your hand when is a little too loose. Also I thing that this product can be improved upon by adding a neoprene jacket in a hand molded pattern so the heal of your hands don’t fee so raw. The hard plastic is exceptionally durable but brutal on the palms. Over all I love the product but I think it needs some tweaking to get right. Maybe slice the upper portion of them and replace with a thick hard rubber for less pressure.

Very pleased

Only used them a few times but so far I'm pleased. They're well made and feel comfortable. Never had too much wrist pain doing push ups but I agree with the elevated palm too reduce discomfort. These will offer me another option when doing push ups. Thanks!

Love the product.

Great for push-ups and squats. No wrist or knee aches or pains. I wish that I obtained them sooner.

Another great Kensui product!

I really like the Kensui Ascent, it's an interesting product. Love using these to power through some burpees or pushups while outside where there might be some rough terrain (rocks, glass, concrete, etc). It's a very simple product but quite effective for that usage. However, I have large feet so using these to squat with or stand on isn't really the most effective use of the Ascent for me and I was looking forward to using them for that purpose as well. I don't know how to remedy this problem if there's a future iteration as I don't think it would be a great idea to make these too large. But maybe an XL version for people with larger feet would be good? I'm not sure, but as it stands it's a great idea for people looking to use these for a number of different exercises and there is a lot of use cases for the device. Also, a better strap would be appreciated as mine has fallen off before.
