"So I really worked the Kensui weighted belt today.

I started muscle-ups with different weights starting from 10lbs to 45lbs.

I have to say this is the best belt I've used and I have ran though a couple difference brands."

DUO-BELT FAQ

What waist size does it fit?

This belt was carefully designed to be one size fits almost all. With the adjustable velcro strap it fits all waist sizes from 26-40.

How much weight does it hold?

We have tested it up to 500lbs without any issue. If you plan to use more weight, reach out to us and we can test it!

What excercises can I do with it?

The belt is mainly designed for muscle ups, pull-ups, and dips. However if you get creative you can also use it for pushups and squats. However the vest is better for these movements.

Should I get the belt or the weighted vest?

They are two very different equipment even though they both add weight to the body. The dip belt is ideal for pullups and dips, but the vest is better for all other exercises such as the squat, lunge, pushup, pike press, inverted row.

Furthermore, because the weight is distributed differently, doing a pullup will feel different with a vest and belt. This is very similar to the difference between a front and back squat.

Therefore, for optimal results we recommend you get both.

Great product!

I am using it both as a lifting belt as for weighted exercises. It is not a powerlifting belt but for the average gym goer it will more than suffice!

Excellent hybrid belt

I got this hoping for a belt squat belt that could replace my rep fitness belt that came with my belt squat rack attachment. It definitely can replace a cheap belt squat, but it's not as comfortable as a padded belt squat belt like the spud inc pillow belt.

I find myself putting on the Kensui belt most often and just leaving it on. I'm much more likely to use it. You can clip in and out without donning / doffing the whole belt. Just latch or unlatch a carabiner or two depending on your setup and you're good to go.

The belt can get plenty tight on me with a size 36 waist. I was a bit worried about the velcro. So far so good. There's plenty of it and it holds.

Included carabiners are nice and smooth. Included rope feels strong and easily holds plates or kettle bells. I think Kensui said the rope was rated up to 600 lbs. Don't quote me on that number. I've hooked up two 40kg (88lbs ea) and it held up fine, but a bit awkward with two kettlebells as you might imagine.
