What is the Swissies-SP V2 Max made of?

The Swissies V2 are made of nylon-fibgerclass composite. It is an extremely durable material which is also used in our flagship EZ-VEST Pro.

You may be wondering why didn't we make it out of steel or aluminum. The answer is 3-fold.

Nylon is much more light-weight. The swissies weighs 1lb. If it was made of metal it would be closer to 5lbs!

Secondly, Nylon is much easier to grip without slipping.

Lastly, it's more comfortable as its not cold to the touch like metal is.

Will they damage the bar?

No, the Swissies V2 have a protective rubber lining to prevent any damage.

How much do they weigh?

A pair of Swissies V2 weigh slightly over a pound and are extremely portable!

How much can the Swissies-SP V2 hold?

We have tested it to hold atleast up to 800lbs.

Really Good with One Annoying Flaw

I love the simplicity and convenience of the design. It’s so easy to quickly switch grips - straight, overhand partially pronated, underhand partially supinated.

The annoying flaw? Three of the four rubber pads fell off on the first use. This is a problem that Kensui is aware of - as numerous reviewers have pointed this out - and should have been corrected by now. The manufacturer attached the pads with rubber cement (a terrible choice of adhesive for this application). Kensui recommended super glue to reattached the pads. This would likely work better than rubber cement, but the more durable fix would be a 2-part epoxy. I decided not to reuse the rubber pads - I picked up some felt furniture pads (with adhesive backing) from Lowe’s and cut them to shape. Works better than the rubber pads, anyway.

You should expect to reattach or replace the rubber pads (sooner than later). Otherwise, it’s a good product.

I can now say that I have all the SWISSIES handles and I love them all 💯💥💯the
SP V2's completes my quest on getting them all and hands down they are all amazing 💯💥💯from the quality to all the right angles to achieve to be and/or get to be your best on your pull ups and chin ups ....which is my personal goal ..... even just owning one out of the awesome variety Kensui has on the SWISSIES....gives you a fantastic edge on your pull ups/chin ups ....do not hesitate to get yourself a pair

Useful but quality control is poor

I like it, construction seems solid but it arrived with the rubbers on one of the swisses off. I had to use some gorilla glue to secure them in place.

Handle grip awesomeness!

Maximum respect to the Kensui Fitness Company for Inventing these awesome, amazing, and multifunctional handles!
The overall construction and design is second to none!
I brought these handles to the gym; and I used them for Seated Cable Rows, and Overhead Seated Lat Pull-down!
I also brought these handles to
"Prospect Park" for usage on the Pull-up bars!
3 different individuals were asking me where did I get these fantastic handles!
The Price was fair and the shipping could have been a little faster.
Yet; I am very grateful to have these handles!
