Customer Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -"My review of the Kyoto Curl Bar and some comparison to the Rogue and GetRXd bars I currently have. Kyoto is my favorite since it has both a narrow and wide grip option. It also has great angles for wrist comfort and great knurling. Definitely the best curl bar for someone with a wide torse or just likes an extra wide grip like me." - Joseph

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -"I have been looking for a rackable curl bar, that does wonders and does not break the bank. That is what the Kyoto Rackable EZ Curl Bar is...so, thank you, Kensuifitness!" - Yoothana M.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -"Fantastic design, i have a curling bar i rarely used because i either had to support it on my dumbbell rack, pick it up off the ground ( i have hip issues and this wasn’t great, or balance it on my bench. Needless to say i rarely used it. This is a game changer and can curl again, also love the deep bends and all the options to hold the bar." - Adam L.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -"This bar is incredible in terms of quality and knurling. Really love this company, keep up the great work!" - VS

"The deep bends in this bar facilitate tucking the elbows during bench pressing, limiting strain in my bad shoulders.

This is exactly the type of bar I was looking for. I use it only for my bench pressing right now."

Bigger Bends. Bigger Gains.

Bending Steel was costly and time consuming.

However the extra performance is worth it.

Kyoto Rackable Curl Bar

Great bar and addition to my home weight room. The design of the bar makes it perfect for what I was looking for, especially for benching. Being able to have my grip turned in relieves pain and pressure in my arthritic shoulder. Highly recommend this bar.

Kyoto curl bar

This Kyoto curl bar is FAR better than the standard EZ curl bar. This Kyoto Olympic bar fits easily on an Olympic bench enabling you to do everything the standard Olympic straight bar can do in addition to great biceps and triceps exercises with no wrist discomfort….. I truly find myself looking forward to each workout when this bar is included in my workout. Well worth the money!!! 👍🏼

Like the many options for grips

My only grievance (if I’d call it that) is the knurling isn’t consistent. I like an aggressive knurling. The very last curve is a good aggressive knurling.

Dope bar (Kyoto Review)

Thing is awesome. Exactly as advertised. Packaging was best I’ve seen (compared to Titan, Texas powerbar, etc). Took a century to ship to me is my only beef but not sure that has any bearing on the rating of this killer add to the gym.

The bar is great, the packaging was abysmal

I love the variety of exercises you can do with the Tokyo bar. It takes some getting used to because of the unique weight distribution, but it’s fantastic for dead lifts and trap exercieses which is mainly why I purchased it. I tried squats but it ended up swaying back and forth too much if I pushed back up from my squat with too much force.

All that being said, the state it arrived to my house in was unacceptable. The box had multiple holes and tears in it. The bar was sticking out by a full foot at one end of the box. There was virtually no protective foam or any other type of protection in the box. The box had packing tape lazily wrapped around it like someone just didn’t care to keep it safe. The shipping materials really need to be considered further. The bar arrived unharmed, but its a miracle that it did. Even the UPS guy profusely apologized for the state and took pictures to document the poor state it was in. I’d buy from Kensui again, but not without having a conversation with customer service first.
