Made a decision, went against my judgement about the issues I heard on instagram ads, and still went thru a purchase of an adjusta-mace.
Here’s my experience working with this company:
- Ordered a mace with the expectation of a 4-6 day delivery.
- Ended up waiting 20 days.
- Inquired a few times about the status of my shipment, never received a clear explanation, just reassurances that it would arrive “soon.”
- Finally, the package arrives, but with two extra maces I didn’t order or pay for.
- Reached out to address the error, aiming to be considerate and not wanting to hurt the business over a mistake.
- Was unexpectedly blamed for my frequent inquiries and also asked to return the extra items.
- Returned them, despite the hassle, without so much as an apology—just free return labels.
- Friends suggested I should’ve kept the items due to the hassle. I chose to return them, but I’ve decided not to engage with this business again and will advise others similarly
It kinda sucks because actually the mace and the idea isn’t so bad (it is just so unrefined and feels dirty though). Still, the whole experience trumped the product for me.
Not recommended if you don’t want to risk all the stress.
