Our Story

 

Our vision is to design and manufacture premium fitness equipment to help you reach the next level of fitness. We also aim to provide solid information about training to help athletes all over the world to reach their fitness goals.

Founded by a engineer and calisthenics enthusiast of five years, Kensui translates to "pull-ups" in Japanese. We have created various innovative patented products that we wish the world will enjoy.

Our Principles

1) Hard Work and Diligence:

There is no shortcut to achieving impressive strength and an amazing physique. Nothing great comes easy. Enjoy the journey and you will reach your goals eventually while enjoying every minute. We will give you the best information and products to reach your goals but we will not make false claims.

2) Integrity

We only sell and manufacture fitness products that we use ourselves and truly believe are beneficial. There are plenty of companies using fitness models using heavy weights and steroids to advertise a product to claim you can achieve this body using this product just 5 minutes a day. This is not what we do here at Kensui®. Our products are truly innovative and not just another neon handle attached to a resistance band.

3) Healthy Lifestyle & Nutrition

We will never sell supplements that our proven to be ineffective or dangerous. There are still plenty of companies selling BCAAs even after they have been disproved by every research done by respected scientists in the industry. There are also companies that sell pre-workouts and fat-burners with new terrifying ingredients that are usually banned within a few years. We believe a good balanced diet will achieve 99% of what any supplement can do.

Our Impact

We believe it's never too early to start giving back, so starting December, 2019 just two week after launch, we started giving a portion of our profits to a good cause. 663 million people on our planet lack access to safe, clean drinking water.

Waterborne diseases kill more children every single year than AIDS, Malaria, and all world violence combined. Small children typically do not have strong enough immune systems to fight diseases like cholera, dysentery, or schistosomiasis.

By providing a community with safe drinking water, disease rates can drop by up to 88% virtually overnight! Child mortality rates can drop up to 90% overnight!

About the Founder:

 

Born in Japan and raised in Canada, Remy was always interested in sports and engineering. He started swimming at the age of 3 and qualified for Olympic Trials and got 2nd at NCAA.

After graduating from MIT, Remy started calisthenics while training at various fitness parks and using gymnastic rings.

During his travels and training, he had ideas of fitness products he wished existed. Since they did not exist, he decided to create Kensui® and design and create the products himself.
