New favorite tool

Great addition to the toolkit for people who love free weights. This along with adjustable dumbbells or kettlebells is all you need at home. Saves a ton of space.

Nice

I have used the Swissies V2 for rows, lat pulls and pull ups. They are light weight, sturdy and have knurling to help with grip. I do wish, however, that they had some rubber padding. Maybe they could offer it as an accessory that could be slid on. Overall, I like them.

Product I have always wanted no one offered until Kensui

Great product adds difficulty to essential exercises

Kyoto Rackable Curl Bar

Great bar and addition to my home weight room. The design of the bar makes it perfect for what I was looking for, especially for benching. Being able to have my grip turned in relieves pain and pressure in my arthritic shoulder. Highly recommend this bar.

Well built!

Does the job to adjust my grip on my wide pull up bar. Strong and solid design that I'm sure will last as long as I have the strength to use them. Just wish they were a bit cheaper.

Hopes were high… was kind of let down :(

I bought the “MAX” aluminum handles with the extension spindles.

The GOOD: The original handle and spindles are quite nice. Decent quality, ok knurling and they work quite well together.

The BAD: The package arrived with a hole in it and missing a handle (no fault of Kensui). I immediately contacted Kensui and was told they would send out a replacement… still waiting for it, or at least a tracking number.

The UGLY: My biggest complaint is not the missing handle so much as the quality of the extension spindles. The extensions are terrible. They don’t fit flush like the “regular size spindles” they have a different thread and didn’t fit my weight plates. They were almost 1mm “thicker” than the regular spindles and the machining was terrible and had lots of burs. I had to sand them down to get them to fit. It’s clear these extensions were an afterthought, they belong to another product and a repurposed for this. Do better Kensui, give us ones specifically designed for the adjustabell. Give us ones that look just like the originals but longer.

Kyoto curl bar

This Kyoto curl bar is FAR better than the standard EZ curl bar. This Kyoto Olympic bar fits easily on an Olympic bench enabling you to do everything the standard Olympic straight bar can do in addition to great biceps and triceps exercises with no wrist discomfort….. I truly find myself looking forward to each workout when this bar is included in my workout. Well worth the money!!! 👍🏼

Broke immediately. No response from customer service.

Adjustamace snapped in half the first time I used it with only 5lbs loaded on. It’s a complete piece of sh*t. I Tried to contact customer support for a refund or replacement but have not received a response.

I would recommend against dealing with this company.

Best Vest Available

I’m impressed with the build and finish quality. It’s so versatile and comfortable.i recommend the kensui over all other vest designs. I sprung $27 for the short sleeves, which I’m super happy with to make the whole package compact and close to my body for pushups. You will be happiest with the pro max. The Brest and back plates are metal. Impressive.

The good, the bad, and the ugly…

Would I recommend this product? Only with some huge caveats:
1) The ugly - by today’s standards, their customer service is hands down the worst. Your package will arrive in 45-75 days, even though you get a shipment order the day after you purchase. They don’t respond to inquiries or answer the phone. If hadn’t already committed to this option for my home gym, I would have disputed the credit card charge and just bought something else.
2) The bad - the adjustabell handles will show up without the plastic protective pieces glued on, it’s like they just chucked them into the bag. The threads for the extensions aren’t the same as the handles. They are close enough, but the first time I used them, I had to force them in and in the process, it removed half the coating on the threads (as i essentially cut new threads). There is significant “industrial slop” with these things.
3) The good - this is a fantastic idea, just poorly executed. The handles have a nice thick diameter (which I like), they are sturdy, and work. Dont know how long they’ll last- you can see in the photo how marred the threads are after only 6-7 workouts.

Handle grip awesomeness!

Maximum respect to the Kensui Fitness Company for Inventing these awesome, amazing, and multifunctional handles!
The overall construction and design is second to none!
I brought these handles to the gym; and I used them for Seated Cable Rows, and Overhead Seated Lat Pull-down!
I also brought these handles to
"Prospect Park" for usage on the Pull-up bars!
3 different individuals were asking me where did I get these fantastic handles!
The Price was fair and the shipping could have been a little faster.
Yet; I am very grateful to have these handles!

Insane.

They are great!

Really comfortable and feel Durable and sturdy... I recomended. There are other options on the market that are too expensive, but these for the price are worth it as they get the job done. Good job!

ASCENT™

Versatile Design

Having injured both of my wrists over 10 years ago, doing push ups is a challenge due to 'extreme osteoarthritis' (I typically use parallettes or push up handles). The ascent, along with the optional boosters has opened up new possibilities - I am now able to support my wrists and gently increase the range of movement in both wrists while providing adequate support to avoid extreme discomfort. As noted by other users, the surface doesn't have much grip. To remedy this I applied self-adhesive sand paper I had on hand over the full length of each Ascent. I realize some might find the sandpaper a little too rough for bare hands however I find it works very well. In addition to doing push ups, I also like to use the Ascent as heel-raisers for squats and a variety of knee related exercises, which makes the Ascent my go-to workout travel accessory!

Poor customer service, great equipment

Ordered a pair of Swissies45 and feel I got duped into big back bundle at checkout, clicked to have a look and it added to order with no going back.
Contacted immediately to try and sort out prior to processing, gave up after three attempts with no answer.
When I received product, the bundle was incorrect anyway and included 2 pairs of Swissies45 with no standard Swissies.
Seems like a waste of time trying to deal with Customer support, so will probably just keep 1 pair 45s as intended and try to sell the other bits. Good quality equipment though!

Portable Mag Grips

Absolutely love these! Bought them nearly the first moment I heard of them. They're basically lightweight/portable Mag Grips that I keep in my gym bag to use at any gym I go to as I'm always switching up gyms or traveling for work. The little inserts to change angles are also genius. My favorite gym accessory.

Item is faulty and has not been replaced

Received my Swissies. One of the black rubber grips was completely missing from one of them. Have received no confirmation of a replacement, meaning I’m left with an unusable product. Very disappointed and would advise to avoid Kensui.

Barbell ProMax

After the first order of non-ProMax handlebars which were perfect, I worried every day that one day a more resistant version would arrive! So it arrived, I didn't think twice and immediately bought them both. Two versions are perfect but the ProMax is safe and gives you more peace of mind to increase a little more weight on the dumbbells, perhaps those weighing 40kg and up! I sincerely thank Kensui Fitness for this wonderful opportunity!

Great muscle engagement

I love the both grips that I purchased. I honestly can fell the back muscles engage more. I believe this due to the body trying to stabilize itself since the handles can move a little bit which is a plus in my opinion

Great for pull-up variations

I really like those handles.
Solid, lightweight (perfect also for travelling), good grip and allows for new pull-up grip variations. Can also be used with resistance bands. Recommended!

Great adjustable solution

I was looking for a loadable option that I could go heavy with for farmers carry’s and inclined presses without the sleeve sticking out. I also wanted a solid material from a brand I could trust, so I waited a while before deciding on a set. When Kensui came out with their Adjustabell Max version I was excited. It addressed all my issues. There is knurling, which is nice. It could be more aggressive (in my opinion), but provides a nice grip. They are easy to change and the Olympic plate adapters are a great addition. Highly recommend those.
When screwed down they hold tight and secure and feel secure like a single weighted dumbbell. All you can ask for. At a price around $100 with the adapters, it’s a solid investment to be able to use all your 1” and 2” plates to have any dumbbell weight set you’d ever need.

V. Good

Opted for the EZ-Vest since I weigh 110bs, height 5’4” Weights sit well on my shoulders. Recovering from an ankle surgery, started rucking with 2x5 lbs, then 15(5,10lbs) for 2 weeks, will be upping weight to 20lbs(10,10) next week. Have added shoulder strap paddings, bought on Amazon, definitely more comfortable and will need for 20lbs and up. Kensui saves my arthritic hands and gives a better zone 2 workout since I’m walking way slower than my usual speed. Also doing squats, lunges and step ups with said weights. Would recommend to anyone needing stronger muscles and denser bones.
